Just another weekend...

Just another weekend, Dj Quixotic the homie was back in town from LA on Thursday he was spinning at PLAY for Liton models party then at Friday we were at FLY let's just say that it was a good night! On Saturday me and some of the crew went to go check out The Speaks for their video release party check out their music at www.myspace.com/thespeaks and Raf also started a blog for the band check that out at http://thespeaks.blogspot.com also at the show an old friend Myk did something special, he proposed to his gf with a special video feature, congrats bro! Some how Chris from GO Magazine decided it was a good idea to check out FLY. Good to see the homies Dirty Hands and DJ OZ killing it! All in all it was a good weekend!

WorldWide BAPE Head Show : April 10th

Bape is producing together with Silly Thing and I.T. the Worldwide Bape Heads Show in Hong Kong, which will see the Teriyaki Boyz, Kanye West, Nigo and N.E.R.D. perform on April 10th. Silly Thing produced the tv commercial for the event.

Side note : If I find a bag of cash (or if Virgin Airlines would like to donate two tickets round trip for me and a friend) I will be at this show....

Dimepiece Boss

My favorite girl line out there by far is Dimepiece. Ashley and Laura know what they are doing, always on top of the game, and a step ahead! Here is a little look at their summer line coming out.

When we had the line at the shop I could not keep it on the shelves for more than 48 hours, phone orders, people coming from everywhere (thank you ash and laura! some pretty ladies stepped foot in the store cause of you guys) or the best story, a guy coming in, 10 mins after we have closed, begging to get some stuff for his girl. Not know what she wanted, he copped every design! Thats love for your girl (or smart, he got laid that night!)

LV X Kanye west...

Before I post the video, I stole it from my boy Steven Lees blog over at N4E1 (notforeveryone) clothings website. They are a group based out of Hong Kong, and one of the earlier supporters of KB before we closed. Anyways, this dude has always been good, and I owe him some lap dances in August. Anyways I went over to his blog to see this guy went to the LV party in Hong Kong! He got the Kanye performance on tape!

Staple Designs at it again!

Jeff Staple over the years has been one of my favorite designers. One reason, he sets the trends, he doesn't follow them. Jeff brought us the Pigeon dunk few years ago, and I can say I'm one of the few lucky owners of them. Now Jeff teams up with New Balance to bring out the Pigeon 575!

David Banner

I guess my friends are finally coming back to normal from this years SXSW event. On gmail chat earlier (if you are a mac user you should be using the software Adium) a friend of mine said that the David Banner performance was by far the best. He also said this video of Banner at the Fader Fort does no justice to what he saw and felt.

They come in three colorways and feature the Paisley Skull pattern all-over. Paisley is nothing new to Vans, but this is something a little different!

Incase : hard case red!

Incase by far is my favorite case company. I have their sleeve for my macbook, and then I saw (that they gave away to everyone but me) the black hard case and feel in love! Now after checking out their blog, I see that they have the red one! Ok Im going to give it two weeks to see if some how I can get one sent to me for the blog of course to see how it is and write a nice review, if not, I guess I'll have to buy one. Trust if I had a an iphone I would def use one of their cases for the phone, why don't they have one for the blackberry curve?

Lack of....

There has been a lack of fashion posts on the blog, this could be cause of many reasons, one since the store has closed I have lost my interest in the fashion scene? Or there has been nothing as of late that has popped up that has tickled my fancy?

Well here are two, one above one of my favorite lines House Of Cassette has decided to join the boys on Fairfax and open a shop. Tonight they will do their grand opening party.


Also one of my other favorites brands that we actually carried at the shop DCMA will be opening their Flag Ship store in LA as well! Congrats fellas!

No sleep till....

Well after partying all night thursday and no sleep me and chris from go mag (gomagdc.com) decided it would be good to go see our boy raf's band at 10am! We head to the hard rock cafe in dc to go see the speaks (myspace.com/thespeaks). Keep in mind we have not slept and started to drink....again!
